Read all Words Carefully

The first step is to carefully read the 4×4 word grid to understand each word present in the Connections game's interface and think about how they could be grouped into four categories. Take a moment to consider what it means in today's NYT connections.

Find Related Words

You must identify groups of 4 words that share something in common. These could be anything from shared themes (like animals, food, or colors) to specific connections (like types of movies, countries, or elements).

Select Words and Submit

Once you’ve found a group of related words, click and select them, then click the submit button to submit your group. After grouping all the words, check if they fit perfectly into their respective categories.

In the connections game, a daily puzzle is updated at 11:59 pm, but we also offer three modes: easy, hard, and unlimited. If you are a beginner, you can play easy puzzles to improve your skills. But if you are professional and want to test your skills, you can play puzzles in hard mode. You can also enjoy unlimited puzzles in unlimited mode, which offers a continuous challenge to keep you engaged.

You can select easy and hard mode from the drop-down menu on the left corner of the screen. On the left corner, there is the Daily icon. Click on it, and you can select any mode using the up and down arrows.

Easy Mode

For players who can’t get enough, Unlimited Mode allows you to play endless puzzles without restrictions. You can choose any random puzzle and enjoy continuous gameplay. Simply click the “New Game” button to access unlimited puzzles and keep playing without interruption easily.
